Cutling does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data to us. Your data stays on your device or syncs privately through your personal iCloud account (optional).

Overview

Cutling is a keyboard extension that lets you save and quickly insert text snippets and images such as addresses, signatures, QR codes, and other frequently used content. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

Data Collection

Cutling collects no personal data whatsoever. No analytics, no crash reports, no usage tracking, no advertising identifiers. The app does not contain any third-party analytics or tracking frameworks. The developer has no ability to read, access, or retrieve your data.

Your Cutlings

All cutlings (text snippets and images) you create are stored locally on your device. Your data is never transmitted to the developer or any third-party servers.

iCloud Sync (Optional)

Cutling offers optional iCloud sync to keep your cutlings synchronized across your Apple devices. When enabled:

When iCloud sync is disabled, your data remains strictly local on your device. iCloud sync is provided by Apple and subject to Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions.

Keyboard Extension

Cutling includes a custom keyboard extension that requires Full Access to read from your device's clipboard. This permission is used solely to let you paste and manage your saved cutlings. The keyboard does not log, record, or transmit your keystrokes or clipboard contents. All clipboard access occurs locally on your device.

Third-Party Services

Cutling does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. No data is sent to external servers.

Children's Privacy

Cutling does not collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for use by all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
